Like to Create Costumes? Try Participating in 2018 POPCON Asia  

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The organizers of POPCON Asia promise something different, ranging from a larger scale to more categories are presented for this year's pop culture event. For the category, there are categories of Armor and Non-Armor, there will be local character categories and costume makers that will be contested. The winners are promised with prizes of each category of Rp9 million.

"We also give the opportunity to the costume maker, who has so many works but still not being exposed, to be able to appear and proud of their works," said Managing Director of POPCON, Yenny Wangsawidjaja in a written statement on Tuesday, June 26.

"We will also give the opportunity to these costumes to appear in the big screen movie," she added.

POPCON teamed up with Bumi Langit (Earth Sky), competing 15 superhero characters from the Bumi Langit comic for the Cosplay and Costume Maker category. As well as Marvel and DC Comics of America, Bumi Langit also began to present the superhero characters to the big screen, including 'Gundala' directed by Joko Anwar.

All categories of 'POPCON Cosplay Challenge' are open from June 11 and will be closed on August 15.
