TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Ministry has shrugged off rumors on the registration for the civil servant enrollment test (CPNS) recently circulating on the social media.
"The rumors were circulating in the public [on the CPNS enrollment test], we make sure that it is a hoax. There is no official information yet about the opening and registration for 2018 CPNS,” said the head of the ministry's Legal, Communications and Public Information Bureau, Herman Suryatman, in an official statement on Monday, June 25.
He added, however, that there were plans for CPNS acceptance, especially for teachers, health workers, as well as other specific formations aiming at executing Nawacita in accordance with state agencies' core business.

"All of them are still in process, until now, the proposed formations submitted by the agencies through e-formation were still in the validation stage," he said.
Rumor on social media has it that the government is opening CPNS registration in July this year, complete with the required criteria, formations, necessary documents, registration steps and CPNS acceptance quota.
Thus, Herman appealed to the public to exercise caution against misleading information bereft of any reliable source.
"All official information related to state apparatus utilization policy, including the plans of CPNS acceptance in 2018, we will inform through the website www.menpan.go.id," he said.
