TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Bank Rakyat Indonesia or BRI (Persero) Tbk. and Gojek cooperate to provide free homecoming program for hundreds of partners of Gojek. The launching of Free Homecoming for Gojek Driver Partners was attended by Director of Institutional Relation of Bank BRI Sis Apik Wijayanto and Chief Corporate Affairs of Gojek Nila Marita, it was conducted in Go Food Festival area, Pasaraya Blok M, Jakarta, Monday, June 11.
The program is a form of appreciation to the driver partners who grows and succeeds together with Gojek, it was followed by more than 300 driver partners. As for, the program is done by land route with the bus fleet of destinations to Solo and Surabaya.
BRI provided six free buses to be used by the driver partners. In addition, BRI also opened BRI savings for drivers who participated in the homecoming program.
“BRI is very proud to be able to participate in the free homecoming program for driver partners at this moment of Eid Day 1429H. As one of our core customers, Gojek and its ecosystems have been playing important role in mobilizing the economy of the community. Through the provision of free buses and account opening saving, we hope to contribute directly to support Gojek and its partners,” Sis Apik said in a written statement on Monday, June 11.
Sis Apik hopes this program can continue to run routinely every year and reach out to more Gojek drivers.
"Hopefully through this free homecoming program, the Gojek drivers can enjoy their homecoming trip to their hometown safely and comfortably until they come back to Jakarta," he said.
