TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Surabaya Mayor Tri Rismaharini visited the children of Surabaya and Sidoarjo bombers on Tuesday, June 12. Risma came to Bhayangkara Samsoeri Mertoyoso Hospital along with Head of Surabaya Resort Police Commissioner Rudi Setiawan.
Risma talked with children of 7 suspected terrorists in Surabaya and Sidoarjo bombing for 30 minutes. “Their condition is getting better and they are cheerful. I brought them balls and books,” she said.
The children include the daughter of Tri Murtiono, the bomber at Surabaya Police Headquarters, AAP (7); children of Anton Febrianto, suspected terrorist at the Wonocolo flats, Sidoarjo AR, (15), FP (11), and GHA (10); and three children of Teguh a.k.a Dedy Sulistianto who died in an ambush in Manukan Kulon, Surabaya.

The condition of surviving daughter of Surabaya Police Headquarters bomber, AAP (7), is getting better. She was thrown about 30 meters when the explosion occurred. “His daughter is cheerful even though her right hand is broken,” Risma said.
Meanwhile, some other children, the Surabaya mayor said, still considered to be influenced by the understanding of their parents. “There is one child who is still a bit difficult (accepting explanation), so we need to explain (a correct understanding) little by little,” Risma said.
Risma explained that the ministry of social affairs will follow-up handling the children of Surabaya and Sidoarjo bombers. They will be gathered in a special rehabilitation site whose location is kept secret.
