“Beef prices are slightly increasing but still in a tolerable limit,” he said. Sandiaga added the increase was below 10 percent, or five percent on average.
“In general, this is better than last year. The fluctuation of prices is better than last year,” he said.

Sandiaga said the price hike was normal, and that the capital's meat stock was ample so traders did not need to raise their prices.
“The average traders when I ask, why sell it expensively? Yes, Sir, once a year,” said Sandiaga.
Sandiaga said raising beef prices ahead of should not become a habit, allowing for the seamless distribution and sufficient beef stock that could maintain the stability of beef prices.
"This is what we want to change, the behavior of traders and buyers," said Sandiaga Uno.
