TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Ministry of Administrative and Bureaucracy Reform (PANRB) introduced an app to ease the public complain about the public service problem during the homecoming trip at this year`s Eid holiday.

The system dubbed National Public Service Complaint Management System or SP4N-LAPOR! is introduced through a hashtag #KenalLapor!SaatMudik.

The official at the Ministry's Public Service Management M. Imanuddin said the program will be socialized along the homecoming route, especially in Java Island.

“In addition to introducing the SP4N-LAPOR! application to the community, the socialization is also aimed at increasing public awareness about the positive role of bureaucracy in public service, and to know the level of people's satisfaction on services and facilities during homecoming period,” he said in a written statement received by Tempo on Wednesday, June 6.

The socialization will start from June 8-14, with the route of Merak, Cirebon, Semarang, and Surabaya via Java's North Coastal lane (Pantura), and back through the southern route, from Surabaya through Solo, Yogyakarta, Bandung, and Jakarta.

With SP4N-LAPOR! application, Imanuddin said people can complain about all kinds of problems related to public services, including services during the 2018 Eid's homecoming and the return traffic flow.

The PANRB Ministry will forward the report that came into the app to the unit or agency related to the matter and it will hopefully cn be handled by related apparatus immediately.

“Since this is an IT-based, people can monitor the extent of the actions on the reports they send,” said Imanuddin.

Imanuddin said, the public services should not stop, even though the employees are off from work. So, during the collective leave and 2018 Eid holiday, the public service must continue to run.
