TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta Administration plans to apply the odd-even system in four new routes. Its implementation is scheduled in the fourth week of July.
“The implementation of the traffic restriction for the 2018 Asian Games is in the fourth week of July,” said Traffic Director of Polda Metro Jaya, Great Commissioner Yusuf on Sunday, June 3.
Jakarta Administration plans to expand the implementation in order to succeed the 2018 Asian Games event. It is valid from Monday to Sunday at 06:00 am to 09:00 pm.
The first route is on Jalan S. Parman-Jalan Gatot Subroto-MT Haryono-Jalan D.I. Panjaitan-Jalan A.Yani-Coca Cola Intersection or Perintis Kemerdekaan towards Cempaka Putih.
The next three routes, namely Arteri Pondok Indah (Kartini-Kebayoran Baru), South Jakarta; Jalan Rasuna Said, South Jakarta; and Jalan Benyamin Sueb Kemayoran, Central Jakarta.
Yusuf explained the planned agenda for the implementation, initially, there will be a coordination meeting of the trials of the 2018 Asian Games traffic restrictions in the first or second week of June.
After that, the socialization phase will be conducted in the third week until the fourth of June. The new trials will be held in the first and second weeks of July.
Entering the third week of July, continued Yusuf, there will be the evaluation meetings. Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan planned to issue a governor regulation regarding the traffic restrictions for the 2018 Asian Games in the third week until the fourth of July. The final phase will be the implementation of the odd-even system.
