TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The sahur or suhoor (pre-dawn meal) becomes the main key to fast in Ramadan so it can run smoothly until the breaking time. Therefore, choosing the right meal at sahur is highly recommended so that the body will not easily weaken.

On the other hand, the foods we eat at suhoor are also able to affect the condition of the body.

Here are some meals that should be avoided at suhoor.

1. Instant Noodles

This food is definitely a mainstay of many people because it is practically prepared at suhoor. Unfortunately, instant noodles do not provide a sense of satiety long enough so that we will easily limp when fasting.

2. Caffeine

Avoid drinks containing caffeine like coffee. Caffeine can be bad for those who fasting because of the diuretic effect. This effect will make you dehydrated and easy to feel thirsty when fasting.

3. Fried foods

For those who like fried foods, try to avoid these foods at suhoor. Because the body needs more energy to digest it. In addition, eating fried foods at suhoor will also make the body become weak and thirsty.

4. Sambal (Chili)

Sambal also needs to be avoided at suhoor due to eating excessive sauce will make the stomach become sore so the fasting cannot be maximal.
