TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The series of bombing attacks in Surabaya churches, the low-cost apartment in Sidoarjo, and the Surabaya Police headquarters have killed 21 people. Thirteen of them were the bombers.
East Java Police chief Insp. Gen. Machfud Arifin said that so far 43 people were injured by the attacks.
"If we include this morning's attack on the Surabaya Police headquarters, the death toll rises to 21 victims," he told a press conference at the East Java Police headquarters, Monday.

East Java Police spokesman Sr. Comr. Frans Barung Mangera said the bodies of the seven victims who died from the bombings had been returned to their families.
One of the victims was an 80-year-old woman named Mayawati, who was a member of the Santa Maria Tak Bercela Catholic Church.
