On Sunday morning, three bombs exploded in three churches, the Immaculate Santa Maria at Ngagel Street, GKI on Jalan Diponegoro, and Pentecostal on Jalan Arjuno. According to Barung, three bombs exploded 30 minutes later after another. Police are still investigating the scene at three locations.
Chief of Surabaya Great Resort Police Senior Commissioner Rudy Setyawan asked the community to remain calm and do the activities as usual. According to him, the security condition has been under control.
Police Chief General Tito Karnavian is scheduled to review the location of the Surabaya bombing and will give a press conference at the East Java Police Headquarters.
