Riot at Mako Brimob, Police Divert Traffic

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Police are applying the traffic engineering or diversion of the traffic flows in front of the Command Headquarters (Mako) Brimob, Depok, on Wednesday morning, after the riot incident on Tuesday night. It was allegedly involved the terrorist prisoners and police.

"Traffic engineering/diversion in front of the Command Headquarters (Mako) Brimob at Jalan Kolonel (Pol) Pranoto, Cimanggis, Depok,” according to the official statement from the Traffic Management Polda Metro Jaya on Wednesday morning, May 9.

The vehicles who want to cross the road are encouraged to find an alternative road.

The riot at Mako Brimob Depok occurred between the officers with a number of terrorist prisoners. Police confirmed the riot but has not been able to provide a full explanation on the trigger of the riot. Several police officers were mentioned to be injured.
