Bappenas Facilitates Rp55.6tn Infrastructure Financing in 2019

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Development Planning Agency (Bappenas) is ready to facilitate the investment financing for infrastructure projects in 2019. The total fund is Rp55.6 trillion.
The financing can be sourced from non-government budgets (PINA) scheme or the government-to-business (KPBU or B2G) scheme.
The initial draft of the 2019 Government Work Plan (RKP) stipulates that Rp41.1 trillion worth of PINA scheme for infrastructure projects.
In addition to PINA, Bappenas also continues to develop infrastructure project financing through a KPBU scheme, targeted to reach Rp14.5 trillion next year.
Bappenas chief Bambang Brodjonegoro said that the achievement of national development targets requires synergy and integration of financing sources—either from the state budget, loans, or foreign and domestic grants, as well as funds sourced from privates and SOEs.
"For 2019, total infrastructure financing is Rp300-trillion, we have not make a budget yet, so the initial estimate is Rp300 trillion," he said.
