President Jokowi Arrives in Singapore for 32nd ASEAN Summit

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - President Joko “Jokowi” Widodo has landed at the Changi International Airport in Singapore to attend the 32nd ASEAN Summit.

However, the president is scheduled to attend several meetings prior to the summit, among them the bilateral meeting at Singapore’s Shangri-La Hotel.

“After that, President Jokowi will also attend a dinner held by Singaporean Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong for ASEAN state leaders,” said State Palace media bureau head Bey Machmudin in  release today.

Other state officials welcoming President Jokowi from both Singapore and Indonesia were Foreign Affairs Minister Retno Marsudi, Senior State Minister of Foreign Affairs and Singaporean Defense Minister Mohamad Maliki Bin Osman, Indonesian Ambassador to Singapore I Gede Ngurah Swajaya, and Indonesian Embassy Defense Attache’ Colonel Tjahya Elang Migdiawan.
