Amien Rais to Accept 2019 Election Results Upon 4 Conditions

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A senior politician of the National Mandate Party (PAN) Amien Rais said he would proudly accept the result of the 2019 presidential election.

“The result will be accepted gladly, happily,” said Amien at Jakarta City Hall, Tuesday, April 24.

However, he set four conditions that must be fulfilled at the election, include:

1. There is no practice of money politics.

2. Do not screw up and manipulate the vote results, and do not cheat.

3. Not using the Corruption Eradication Commission or KPK to hit the political opponents.

4. Not involving the interests of foreign countries.

If the conditions he mentioned are met, Amien Rais said he would gladly congratulate whoever wins the presidential election.
