TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The government added three more days of joint leave for Eid al-Fitr holiday that falls on June 14 and June 15, 2018.
"One of the considerations the additional joint leave is to break down the traffic flow before and after Eid al-Fitr," said Coordinating Minister for Human Development and Culture Puan Maharani after witnessing the signing of a joint decree (SKB) between three ministers on the national holidays and joint leave for 2018 and 2019 in her office on Wednesday, April 18, 2018.
The additional joint leave has been determined on June 11, June 12, and June 20.
Minister Puan hoped that the additional leave would be enough for people to gather with their families.
"Hopefully, all plans and preparations that have been made can be carried out well," Puan said.
