Roads Affected by Odd-Even Policy in Tangerang Toll

TEMPO.COTangerang - Tangerang Transportation Agency Head Saiful Rohman said traffic density may occur in several roads due to the trial run of odd-even policy in Tangerang-Merak toll taking place today, April 16.

“A number of roads will be affected by the odd-even policy,” said Saiful Rohman, Sunday, April 15.

Saiful predicted the roads that will be packed by vehicles were Jl. MH Thamrin from Cikokol-Kebon Nanas until Tangerang 2 toll, Jl. Gatot Subroto Jakate, Jl. MI Bandara Soekarno-Hatta, and Pinangsia Karawaci.

According to Saiful, many vehicles would head to Karawaci toll and Botung tollgate due to the implementation of the policy.

To anticipate the congestion, Saiful claimed that he has deployed 212 joint officers from Transportation Agency and Tangerang Police traffic unit to managing the traffic during the odd-even policy trial run. "Several officers will be assigned to stand guard in alternative routes,” he added.
