TEMPO.CO, Sukabumi - President Joko Widodo (Jokowi) glad that he could ride his 350 cc chopper Royal Enfield Bullet across Sukabumi, West Java. The bike is usually only ridden in the Bogor Palace complex.
Jokowi said the tour felt different because the track is located in the mountains. "It is a winding road," he said Sunday, April 8.
The president was accompanied by the Transportation Minister Budi Karya Sumadi, Public Housings Minister Basuki Hadimuljono, and chief of presidential staff Moeldoko, as well as dozens of bikers from a number of clubs such as the Elders dan Kick Ass Chopper

During the tour, Jokowi showed the Padat Karya project to the bikers, as well as visiting the irrigation and tourism projects.
The president rode his bike for three hours along 30 kilometers distance. The first point of the tour is Bantargadung Regency office and ended in Pelabuhan Ratu Beach.
He said that he used to ride a motorbike with a long distance route. Jokowi once rode a trail bike in Papua with the distance of 10 kilometers.
Jokowi admitted he liked to ride a motorbike before elected as the president. He used it to go on vacations even before serving as the Solo Regent.
