Medika Hospital Doctors to Testify against Fredrich Yunadi

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The trial against Fredrich Yunadi, charged with obstructing the investigation on e-KTP corruption suspect Setya Novanto, is held at the Jakarta Corruption Court today, March 15. The public prosecutors wil bring two doctors from the Medika Permata Hijau Hospital to testify against the suspect.
"The witnesses are doctor Alia and doctor Michael Chia Cahaya," KPK prosecutor Takdir Suhan said on Thursday, March 15.

He added that Fredrich Yunadi will attend the hearing.
In the previous hearing on March 5, the Corruption Court judges rejected Fredrich Yunadi's exception, deeming it unacceptable. Chairman of the panel of judges, Zaifuddin Zuhri, ordered prosecutors to continue investigating the case.
Fredrich Yunadi is the former lawyer of Setya Novanto. He is accused of having manipulated the medical records for an accident Setya Novanto had on November 16, 2017. The KPK suspect that the obstruction of justice was done to prevent Setya Novanto from being interrogated by the KPK.
Fredrich Yunadi is charged with Article 21 of Law No.31/1999 on the Eradication of Corruption, under suspicion of obstructing KPK's investigation.
