TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - PT Angkutan Sungai, Danau, dan Penyeberangan (ASDP) Indonesia Ferry is preparing three tourist boats for contingents of the 2018 Asian Games that will be hosted by Jakarta and Palembang. The boats can be used as transportation for athletes as well as tourists who come to Indonesia see the regional games, especially in Jakarta and Palembang.
"For the time being, we are preparing three boats. If the market is promising, we can add more," PT ASDP director Ira Puspadewi said in Kupang, East Nusa Tenggara on Friday, March 9.

In Jakarta, Asian Games athletes, contingents and supporters can ride the boats to visit nearby islands that have been made as travel destinations.
The city of Palembang is also building floating restaurants and diners offering affordable meals at Musi River.
The boats that will operate during the Asian Games in Jakarta and Palembang are all equipped with free Wi-Fi and small cafés that passengers can enjoy. The boats will also have karaoke booths and live music shows.
