Samsung Galaxy S9 Features for Social Generation

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus equipped with Samsung flagship features. Samsung Electronics Product Marketing Manager Annisa Maulina revealed the features provided was to meet the need of social generation.

“Samsung conducted analysis on society needs which resulted in the features on both smartphones including Super Slow-mo, Low Light camera, and AR Emoji,” said Annisa in Samsung Galaxy International Experience Store, South Jakarta, February 26.

Super Slow-mo can create a dynamic slow-motion video with 960 fps. This feature able to detect object movement automatically while recording. Users also can choose 35 background music.

The Low Light camera installed on Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will determine the image quality with a good lighting.The 12-megapixel main camera on Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus has F1.5 and F2.4 sensor lens with Samsung's Aperture dual technology that will automatically adjust the lighting while taking pictures. While 8-megapixel camera installed on the front.

Annisa explained that Samsung targeted the market to social generation. "Social generation is people of all ages, they can easily use the camera also uploading the image to social media," added Annisa.

One of the key features of both phones made in Korea is called AR Emoji. "Emoji AR is a complementary feature, users can turn their face into an animation. This picture and video emoji can be applied in any social media," said Annisa.

Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus will be available to pre-order starting from Monday, February 26, 2018, at precisely 00:00 local times with a price of Rp11.499 million for Galaxy S9 64GB, Rp12.999 million for Galaxy S9 Plus 64GB and Rp14.499 million Galaxy S9 Plus 256GB. The order can be taken on March 15, 2018, and in the next day, the phone will be available at Samsung retail stores all over Indonesia.
