FPI Orders Supporters to Go Home as Rizieq Shihab Cancels Return

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Islamic Defenders Front leader Rizieq Shihab has canceled his return today, Feb. 21. FPI spokesman Slamet Maarif commands the supporters around Soekarno-Hatta airport to go home and keep in order.
“Insya Allah, all your sacrifice [to welcome Shihab] will be written as a good deed,” Slamet added.

Previously, Rizieq Shihab was reportedly landed in Indonesia today from Saudi Arabia. “Our longing to meet with our teacher Muhammad Rizieq Bin Hussein Shihab has yet healed,” said Slamet on a voice record received by Tempo, Wednesday, Feb. 21.
FPI headquarters is crowded by dozens of uniformed men guarding the office. Rizieq Shihab canceled his return via telephone to the congregation of Baitul Amal Mosque, Cengkareng, this morning. The cancellation based on his faith after praying to determine his decision.
