TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Gelora Bung Karno Stadium (GBK) management experienced losses up to tens of millions of rupiah due to damaged facilities in the 2018 President’s Cup final of Persija Jakarta vs Bali United on Saturday, 17. Four gates were broken down by the supporters who forced to enter into the match.

"According to PT Adhi Karya (contractor), the loss is up to tens of millions," said Public Relations of GBK Complex Management Center Dyah Kumala Sari on Sunday, February 18, 2018.

The brutal behavior of the supporter was captured in CCTV uploaded by @Jktinfo. The video showed dozens of spectators trying to get into the newly renovated stadium through one of the gates. The efforts of the officers to block the supporters were in vain as they were outnumbered.

According to Tempo's observation, the four gates were gate 5B, 7B, 9, and 10. The broken gate was the exit door. The GBK gate is made of iron, with the bar's construction. The gate was recently renovated for Asian Games 2018.
