Pandaan-Malang Toll Road Construction Expedited for Homecoming

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The construction of Pandaan-Malang Toll Road will be accelerated to accommodate the Eid Al Fitr homecoming season this year.
PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang (PT JPM) director Agus Purnomo said that the Pandaan-Malang toll road is expected to be the solution for the high volume of vehicles from Surabaya and Malang, especially during the homecoming season.

PT Jasamarga Pandaan Malang announced that the project completion has progressed to 45.84 percent.
In terms of land acquisition, the company has acquired 81.64 percent the land dedicated for the toll road project.

With such a rapid progress, Agus said the Pandaan-Malang Toll Road is expected to be fully operational by the end of 2018.
The toll road is connected to the Gempol-Pandaan Toll Road. It is expected that the highway will reduce the congestion on the arterial road and cut the travel time from Malang to Pandaan.
