KPK Still Analyzing Documents of Zumi Zola Bribe Case

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators are still analyzing the documents they got from Jambi Governor Zumi Zola's official house on Wednesday, January 31. It is related to projects and funds to certain parties.

According to Febri, KPK investigators also examined three witnesses related to the alleged bribery case discussion of Jambi Regional Budget Draft (RAPBD) in 2018 with Zumi Zola as the suspect. The witnesses were also questioned for the suspected Head of Jambi Public Works Department, Arfan.

The three witnesses were the employees of the company which became partners with Jambi Administration. They are Cecep Suryana and Jefri Hendrik who checked for Arfan. Then another witness is Mantes who checked for Zumi Zola.

Previously, Zumi Zola announced as a suspect by the KPK on Friday, February 2. He allegedly received a gift or promise related to projects in Jambi and other gifts within the period of 2016-2021 for Rp6 billion.
