TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Police has arrested an employee of the Health Ministry for drug possession. When arrested on Sunday, February 4, the employee had on him a packet of methamphetamine weighing 0.9 grams.
“He was arrested at Jalan Hang Jebat, South Jakarta,” the Jakarta Police’s Narcotics Division head, Sr. Comr. Jean Calvijn Simanjuntak told Tempo, Wednesday, Feb. 7.

The employee, IH, was arrested after the police received reports from the neighborhood local--suspecting a man of using drugs there. IH was arrested when he was driving in Jalan Hang Jebat.
The police have also arrested a staff of the DPR’s secretariat general, Robby Salam (36) on Monday, Feb. 5, for alleged involvement in methamphetamine distribution. He is detained for having drugs in his possession.
He was arrested in Gatot Subroto Road in Central Jakarta, based on reports that a man was dealing drugs in Tanah Abang district’s Gelora neighborhood.
