TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - A video that showed two mice in a Breadtalk outlet has gone viral several days ago. it was recorded by someone at one of the Breadtalk outlets in Plaza Semanggi and the video was uploaded on Youtube.
Farah, a visitor, said that she did not know about the video. “Every Sunday, before going to church, I always buy bread in BreadTalk, I think Breadtalk products is hygienic enough,” she told Tempo, on Sunday, February 4.

Taufik, a Breadtalk’s employee, said that none of the visitors questioned about the video. He said it is still being crowded like a typical day.
Taufik already knew about the video. According to him, Breadtalk still maintains the cleanliness of the kitchen and the outlets. “Everyday the kitchen is cleaned, there is also a cleaning inspection periodically,” he said.
Through Instagram account, @breadtalkindo provided a clarification. The Breadtalk management said that they would follow up on the mice finding in one of the outlets and clean up all the tools which are used to make bread. The account stated, “We apologize for any inconvenience that you are experiencing, we always strive to provide the best to all the customers without any exception.”
