TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The management of bakery retailer Breadtalk had spoken out about the existence of mice in its kitchen, which was caught on video that got posted online. Through its Twitter account @breadtalkindo, the company apologizes.
“We apologize for the discomfort that you have experienced,” the post said.
They admitted that the video was real and not engineered. The footage, BreadTalk said, happened at 11 pm when the store had closed.
"We can ensure you that there were no products on display (during the incident)”.
The tweet added to say that the kitchen staff had followed up on the incident by cleaning all of its utensils using disinfectants. BreadTalk also said they store all of their raw ingredients safely and securely to maintain product quality.
A video was posted on YouTube showing two mice running around in one of BreadTalk’s kitchen, which has transparent glass. The video has went viral since and sparked reactions from netizens.
