TEMPO.CO, Jakarta -The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) has submitted the indictment and case file of Fredrich Yunadi to the Central Jakarta District Court, on Friday, February 2.
KPK has set Fredrich Yunadi as a suspect who hamper the investigating process of the electronic identity card (e-KTP) with Setya Novanto as the suspect, on Wednesday, January 10. The anti-graft agency also appointed a Doctor of Medika Permata Hijau Hospital, Bimanesh Sutarjo, as a suspect.
Both are charged with Article 21 of Law No. 31/1999 on the Eradication of Corruption.
According to Febri, KPK is waiting for the schedule of the trial. “All the allegations act of obstructing the e-KTP graft investigation will be proven further in the court,” he said.
Fredrich Yunadi's lawyer, Sapriyanto Refa, said that the first-trial pretrial (obstruction of justice) of his client will be held on Monday, February 5. He said that Fredrich would not be present at the trial. “He does not have to be present, it's enough with the legal counsel,” Refa told Tempo on Friday, February 2.
