TEMPO.CO, Gianyar - Bali United defeated Persija Jakarta 3-2 in the final match of Group D President Cup 2018 at Captain I Wayan Dipta Stadium, Gianyar, Monday, January 29.
Bali United Coach Hans Peter Schaller said that his squad is playing very fast. “We've tried our best, it's a good result for us, I'm happy with the result,” he said after the match.
According to him, his squad played fast and good in defense. “The tactic was very effective, Bali United was good at muffling Persija attacks,” he said. However, Persija can take advantage of the ‘kick the ball off’ chance. “Persija played very well, it (free kick) is used well,” he said.

Coach Persija Stefano Cugurra Teco satisfied with the match outcome. “It has passed (preliminary round),” he said. According to him, the match in the President Cup is to measure and evaluate his squad ahead to League 1 and AFC competitions.
Bali United and Persija managed to qualify for the preliminary round. Bali United gained nine points from three matches. While Persija gained six points.
