Ahok Received Divorce Lawsuit Letter, Trial Held Tomorrow

TEMPO.CO, Depok - Lawyer of Basuki Tjahaja Purnama alias Ahok, Josefina Agatha Syukur, ensures that Ahok has received his divorce lawsuit letter against Veronica Tan. The inaugural trial will be held at the North Jakarta District Court on Wednesday, January 31.
“I have forwarded the letter to Mr. Ahok,” said Josefina to Tempo, on Tuesday, January 30.
But Josefina has not had time to meet Ahok again. Currently, Ahok is still serving his sentence at the prison of the Brigade Command HQ (Rutan Mako), Kelapa Dua, Depok. “I have not been to Rutan Mako yet,” she said.

“It seems like they will be absent, the inaugural trial is the stage of determining the mediation time,” said Josefina.
Earlier, North Jakarta District Court spokesman, Jootje Sampaleng, said that the trial of Ahok's divorce lawsuit against Veronica Tan will be held on Wednesday, January 31. The trial will be chaired by Judge Sutaji with Ronald Salnofri Bya and Taufan Mandala as the member judges. “For the inaugural trial, they can be represented if they cannot attend,” he said, on Thursday, January 11.
