TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Meteorology, Climatology and Geophysics Agency (BMKG) predicts parts of Jakarta will be hit by strong winds and thundering rain from noon to afternoon today on Friday, January 26.
“Be alert of the potential of rain with the short duration of thunder in South and West Jakarta from noon until afternoon,” BMKG stated in their website.

Clouds overcast all of the Jakarta areas in the morning and followed by rain at noon which is expected to last until evening. Rain with the medium intensity will cover South, East, and North Jakarta. Meanwhile, West Jakarta, Central Jakarta, and Thousand Islands will experience localized rain.
Jakarta’s air temperature according to BMKG will be around 24-30 degree Celsius with a 70-95 percent humidity.
