TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Airbnb revealed that 2017 saw Southeast Asian travelers yearning to experience unique tourism such as the perfumery in Seoul, bicycling in Osaka’s urban environment, visiting the one kind house in Singapore, or studying the art of wasabi cultivation in Tsukiji, Tokyo.

Airbnb then compiled several tour suggestions for 2018 that might inspire you to go on a travel adventure in 2018. Here is the list of accommodations with unique and interesting tourist spots in its vicinity.

1. Tamarind Cottage Tree house - Chiang Mai, Thailand

The mystical tree house is within a teak forest. It also has adventure spots in its vicinity such as a waterfall, bat cave, and a hiking location.

2. Yong Yi Yuen - Penang, Malaysia

This century-old pre-war themed accommodation depicts the culture and heritage of George Town, Penang.

3. Singaraja Villa - Bali, Indonesia

This villa offers a 180-degree view of the ocean at a height on one of the last parts that are untouched on this island.

4. Private Island Retreat in El Nido - Palawan, Philippines

This white sand beach island was chosen as one of the world’s most gorgeous places.

5. Rice Field Bamboo Dome - Bali, Indonesia

The environmentally friendly two-story dome is located at a rice field and is designed to cater to tourists that love to be one with nature.

6. Villa Baan Sai Tan - Koh Samui, Thailand

This villa is located on a hill with the combination of the view of the beach. It has many restaurants and bars available at the location.

7. Jonker Street Peranakan Mansion - Malacca, Malaysia

This 18th-century building is a revamped Peranakan home which is one of UNESCO’s world heritage sites in Malaysia.
