They are banned to travel abroad starting on December 6, 2017, Febri said. The ban was issued to make sure that the four people will be in Indonesia whenever the KPK investigators need to question them in the e-KTP case.
Febr explained the travel ban can be done during the investigation and prosecution process which is based on Article 12 Letter b of Law No. 30/2002 on the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK).
Fredrich Yunadi resigned from his position as Setya Novanto’s lawyer on December 8, 2017, when his client will stand on a trial as a defendant in the e-KTP case.
