TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Indonesian Stock Exchange (IDX) stops its activities during the national Christmas mass-leave today on Tuesday, December 26.
“The Indonesian Stock Exchange will actively conduct its stock trades again on Wednesday, December 27,” as quoted through their official website on December 25.
The official government mass-leave refers to the rule that was formed by the Ministry of Religious Affairs, Minister of Manpower, and the Minister of Administrative Reform and Bureaucracy Reform.
Not only that, the official government mass-leave regulated under the Presidential Decree No 18/2017 on mass-leaves. The IDX day-offs will be set after Bank Indonesia conducts a clearing or if the Indonesian government announces a specific day off.
The IDX has once stopped its trade during the regional simultaneous election on February 15. Vice President Jusuf Kalla at the time urged members of the public to use their right to vote.
