TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Jakarta administration has revoked the business permit of nightclub MG International Club for selling liquid crystal meth.
Jakarta Investment Office head Edy Junaedi said that the decision was made after an investigation launched by the National Antinarcotics Agency (BNN) and the National Police on December 17 in which they found a lab allegedly used to produce drugs.
MG International Club in West Jakarta was raided by BNN personnel on December 17 early morning. The agency found a lab that purportedly produced liquid crystal meth and ecstasy stored in 330 ml water bottles and priced at Rp400,000 each.
The raid was launched after the arrests of five drug dealers in Grogol Petamburan, West Jakarta. Meanwhile, the man who owned and operated the meth lab remains at large.
