TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) deputy chief Saut Situmorang said his office would need to hold a coordination meeting before responding to a question related to the submission of Setya Novanto`s dossiers.
“We need to have a coordination meeting about the technicality,” Saut said after attending the commemoration of International Anti-Corruption Day held at the Finance Ministry’s Directorate General Office in South Jakarta today, Dec. 6.
Saut also declined to confirm the exact date of the submission of Setya’s dossiers to the Jakarta Corruption Court. “We’ll see about that,” he said.

The KPK deputy chief dismissed a rumor saying that the preparation of the dossiers is being rushed before Setya’s first pretrial hearing to be held on November 30. The anti-graft agency earlier requested the court to suspend the hearing in order to satisfy the administrative requirements.
KPK spokesperson Priharsa Nugraha yesterday announced that it had submitted the dossiers of Setya Novanto, the suspect of a graft case surrounding the electronic ID cards (e-KTP) procurement project, to the Jakarta Corruption Court.
Coinciding with the completion of the dossiers, Setya Novanto was summoned to the KPK building last night. Setya’s lawyer Fredrich Yunadi claimed that the summons was forced by the anti-graft commission. He also said that he was not able to accompany Setya at that time.
Saut revealed that the KPK will submit the dossiers on Thursday, December 7, before the pretrial hearing is held. He admitted that the move was taken to counter the pretrial motion filed by Setya Novanto.
