Author, TV Presenter Bondan Winarno Passes Away

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Author, culinary show presenter Bondan Winarno passes away today at 9:05 am at Harapan Kita Hospital in Jakarta.

The death of the 67-year-old men was first reported on the internet. Her daughter Gwen Winarno posted a photo on her Instagram account with the caption:

Many people keep your dad in their prayers. He is a person with an exceptionally kind and gentle heart. The Universe hears our prayers and the positive energy, the love will flow to him and heal him. Meanwhile, big hug to you and yours. Have faith.

Bondan Winarno was born in Surabaya, East Java on April 29, 1950. He was an author and journalist. He wrote articles for Tempo, Kompas, Sinar Harapan, Suara Pembaruan, Mutiara, Asian Wall Street Journal, etc.

Bondan Winarno was very active as a Boy Scout since his teenage years. The man represented Indonesia at the World Scout Jamboree in Idaho, the United States in 1967, where he won Baden Powell Adventure Award and honor guard for Lady Olave Baden Powell.
