KPK has found the involvement of Setnov’s family in the e-KTP project. The fact was revealed in the graft trial sessions. On November 3 trial session, for example, Golkar Party chairman Setya Novanto confirmed that he once served as a commissioner at PT Mondialindo Graha Perdana, a majority shareholder of PT Murakabi Sejahtera, one of the winning bidders in the e-KTP project.
PT Murakabi was led by Setya Novanto’s nephew, Irvanto Hendra Pambudi. The company’s stakes were also owned by Vidi Gunawan, the younger brother of e-KTP graft case defendant Andi Narogong.
KPK prosecutors said that Setya's wife and son owned 50 percent and 30 percent shares, respectively, at PT Mondialindo in 2008-2011 periods.
At the November 3’s trial session, Setya Novanto denied his involvement in the e-KTP graft. He admitted that his wife Deisti Astriani Tagor and son Reza Herwindo owned the majority of the company’s shares. Setya also claimed that he did not aware of Dwina Michaella’s position as a commissioner at Murakabi.
