KPK Investigators Meet Doctor Who Treats Setya Novanto

TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) investigators have finally met the doctor who treats the suspect in e-ID graft case Setya Novanto this morning. When asked about Setya’s latest condition, the doctor did not comment much.

“Not now, I need to talk [to someone],” he said while entering a room with at least three KPK officers at Medika Hospital in West Jakarta today, Nov. 17.

Setya Novanto’s lawyer Fredrich Yunadi said that the KPK investigators had insisted to stay at the hospital to meet the doctor.

He had earlier asked the investigators to leave the place and come back this morning.

Setya Novanto had an accident on Thursday, November 16. The Speaker of the House of Representatives’ car rammed into a utility pole and he is now being treated at a hospital in West Jakarta.
