TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) chief Agus Rahardjo said that his office will join hands with police to arrest the House of Representatives (DPR) Speaker Setya Novanto in the electronic identity cards (e-KTP).
“...We will evaluate our next steps,” said the KPK chief when asked about Setya Novanto’s arrest.
He expects the House Speaker to be cooperative to undergo legal proceedings.

Earlier, the KPK investigators came to Novanto’s house in South Jakarta on Wednesday night, November 15. They tried to pick up the suspect in the e-KTP graft case by force. At least six KPK officers entered and searched the luxurious house.
At 2:35 am, investigators came out of the house while holding suitcases and a box containing CCTV footages. Setya himself was not home. The anti-graft agency conducted the search after Setya Novanto repeatedly skipped the KPK questioning.
