TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Marc Marquez ensured himself the 2017 MotoGP world champion. He claimed his fourth world title after finishing third, behind Dani Pedrosa and Johann Zarco, in a race at the Ricardo Tormo Circuit, Valencia, Spain.
The Honda rider benefited because his rival, Andrea Dovizioso (Ducati), failed to finish because of a lap on lap 25 (out of a total of 30).
Yamaha rider, Valentino Rossi, just finished fifth in this race. The Italian veteran rider finished fifth in the MotoGP final standings this season.
