TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Kalibaru Police Precinct of Cilincing, North Jakarta, arrested four suspected drug dealers. From them, the police confiscated about seven grams of methamphetamine or known in Indonesia as shabu-shabu.
"We found plastic packets containing shabu-shabu in the suspect's right pocket and sling bag," Kalibaru Police Chief Comr. Eko Setio said on Monday, November 6.

The arrest suspects began when the Kalibaru police conducted a security operation on Thursday night last week at the Kalibaru Port. The police stopped two bikers for acting suspiciously.
"When they were being stopped, the suspects hit a police officer and tried to escape," said Eko.
The police managed to catch the riders, Muhammad Rudi Saputra and Jainal Muttaqien. They were questioned and searched and the police found 0.6 grams of meth in Rudi's pants pocket and 6.73 grams more in Jainal's sling bag.
During the interrogation, the two suspects admitted they were planning to deal the drugs in a pool house in Kramat Raya, Jakarta Utara. Based on the suspects' lead, the police then arrested two other people who helped sold the meths, Diki Irawan and Agus Sunandar.

From the suspects, the police confiscated several evidences including an electric scale, 22 empty plastic packets, and Rp550.000 in cash.
The suspects are being charged with violating article 114 clause 2 of Law No.35/2009 on Drugs. They are facing a possible jail sentence of at least six years.
