TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The National Police have received information about the arrest of an Indonesian named Minhati Madrais, who was also the wife of a Philippine terrorist Omarkhayam Moute.

Police spokesman Brig. Gen. Rikwanto said that the information about the arrest of Omarkhayam's wife was received on Sunday, November 5, at 9:30 local time from Counterparty Cagayan de Oro Police.

Aside from Minhati, the Armed Force of the Philippines (AFP) and the Philippine National Police (PNP) of ICPO, MIB, ISG, CIDT-Lanao, 4th Mech, and 103rd SAC also detained Minhati’s four daughters and two sons at 8017 Steele Makers Village Tubod, Iligan City.

Police said that Minhati is a resident of Bekasi, West Java, who is married to one of Moute Group’s leaders Omarkhayam Moute. The latter was reportedly killed in a Philippine military operation in Marawi.

Rikwanto said that local police seized four blasting caps, two detonating cords and a time fuse, as well as an expired Indonesian passport under Minhati’s name. The woman is currently in police custody in Illigan City, the Philippines. The country’s immigration office said that she arrived in Manila in 2015.
