TEMPO.CO, Depok - Health Ministry`s head of Immunization subdirectory of disease control and prevention Prima Yosephine affirmed that children have the right to get immunization as part of health services.
"With such a reason, we expect people will take part in Measles Rubella (MR) immunization program that we hold for the sake of the children’s health in the future," Prima said in Depok on Friday, Oct. 6.

The MR immunization program, she continued, will end on October 14 and 95 percent of children are targeted to get vaccinated. Children who are not vaccinated, she added, will be exposed to a lot of risks including measles, severe complications to encephalitis, lung disease, and others.
Depok Health Department's head of infectious disease control and prevention Yuliandi said that the program has reached 95.06 percent involvement. However, he went on, the target is 100 percent and sweeping with the help of district head and head of community is conducted in order to reach the target, especially to elite houses that are difficult to access.
