TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - After almost two years since Pelabuhan Indonesia II (Pelindo 2) president director Richard Joost Lino was named as a corruption suspect, the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) today resumed the questioning of witnesses.
The KPK today called Ferialdy Noerlan for questioning. Ferialdy is Pelindo 2's former director of operations and engineering.
"He was examined as a witness for RJ Lino, the suspect," KPK spokesman Febri Diansyah said in Jakarta, Thursday, October 5.

The KPK named Lino as a suspect on December 18, 2015. He is suspected of being involved in the alleged corruption in the procurement of the Quay Container Crane (QCC) by Pelindo II in 2010. His alleged actions have incurred an estimated state loss of about Rp60 billion.
Lino is suspected to have ordered the procurement of three QCC units in PT Pelindo II by directly appointing HDHM from China as the procurer.
Febri said that the material of Ferialdy Noerlan's examination will be made public soon. "We will coordinate with the investigator, to see what the development is like," said the KPK spokesman.
