TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Jakarta Composite Index (JCI) fell 0.05 percent to close today`s first trading session at 5,860.10. The index spent this morning fluctuating with a tendency to weaken due to falling bank stocks.

Bank Rakyat Indonesia (BBRI) and Bank Danamon Indonesia (BDMN) were the main triggers to the JCI's correction. 

Other banking issuers with declining share prices this morning were BBM (-1.48 percent), BDMN (-4.25 percent), BBTN (-4.40 percent), and BBCA (-0.25 percent).

As of the first trading session at the Indonesia Stock Exchange, the index moved between 5,852.92 and 5,866.61. From the 560 stocks traded, 138 strengthened while 147 were corrected.
