TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Former CEO of Indonesian internet forum giant Kaskus Ken Dean Lawadinata has recently invested in startup company Campaign.com. The company will be the country’s first digital campaign provider.
“For me, a good business is the one that solves problems and I believe that Campaign.com can bring changes,” said Ken during a Q&A session at CHUBB Square today, September 6.
Ken did not expect that he would invest again in the IT sector so soon, considering that when he quit from Kaskus he highlighted the high-risk level of having an IT based business in today’s climate.
Ken believes in Campaign.com after knowing the fact that the startup company has collaborated with many sectors and more than 200 individuals and Indonesian communities. That has not included the social campaign that is being worked by 60 foreign partners.
Despite his excitement, he refused to reveal the value of his investment into the site. CEO of Campaign.com William Gondokusumo appreciates Ken’s contribution into the site. “We want this to grow into a community. We continue to hold offline events such as workshops and we would like this startup to reach a global level,” said William.
