TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Maybank Bali Marathon (MBM) 2017, which will be held on Sunday, August 27, offers Rp2 billion in prize money to 86 winners. In accordance with Bank Indonesia regulation, prize money shall be denominated in the rupiah.
As many as 9,000 participants have signed up for Maybank Bali Marathon 2017. They hail from Kenya, Ethiopia, the United States, Europe, Australia and Asian countries, not to mention Indonesia. Some 2,500 people will be competing in the full marathon (42.195 kilometers), 3,500 participants will be joining the half marathon (21.0975 km) and the rest will be running for 10 kilometers.
Maybank Indonesia is also supported by Bali administration and the Indonesian Athletic Association (PASI) to organize the MBM 2017.
