TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - Three airports managed by state-owned airport operator PT Angkasa Pura (AP) II have received international certification of ISO 9001:2015 quality management in the category of functions of services for Customer Service and terminal Inspection Services.
The three airports are Soekarno-Hatta, Husein Sastranegara, and Kualanamu.
ISO 9001:2015 certification was awarded by British Standard Institution. British Standard Institution is a non-profit organization established in 1901 and it performs standardization, system assessment, product certification, training, and consultation services.
Angkasa Pura II President Director Muhammad Awaluddin said that achieving this certification is an evidence of the company’s commitment to providing services with international standards.
Prior to achieving ISO certification, Awaluddin added, Angkasa Pura II airports have gone through several audit stages including GAP analysis, internal audit, stage 1 assessment and stage 2 assessment. The assessment generally includes administration, business processes, and implementation in the field.
