TEMPO.CO, Jakarta - The Directorate of Special Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya Police canceled a raid on the salt factory owned by CV Alam Cemerlang in the Neglasari Sub-district, Tangerang City, Banten, Wednesday, August 9, 2017.
Head of Public Relations of Polda Metro Jaya Commissioner Raden Prabowo, Argo Yuwono, said the factory was not raided because they are still investigating the matter of production.
"We are still examining it," Argo said when confirmed on Wednesday. According to him, it still needs expert witness testimony.

However, Argo was reluctant to describe the alleged crime committed salt factory. Previously, it had circulated the news that the salt factory was raided by police for allegedly making products that are inconsistent with Indonesian National Standard (SNI). "This is related to the economy of the country," Argo said.
Meanwhile, the office of CV Alam Cemerlang in Jalan Lio Baru number 21A, Neglasari Subdistrict, Tangerang City looks quiet and covered with police lines. Nothing can be asked for the confirmation of the alleged crime committed by the salt factory.
